Dickson Valley Day Camp offers an exciting and memorable summer adventure!

At camp, kids get to engage in a range of fun and safe activities, make lasting friendships within a supportive community, and grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. They’ll also enjoy outdoor adventures, all guided by our passionate, skilled, and dedicated staff.

We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome your child to camp this summer!

Who is Day Camp for?

Elementary: ages 6-10 (as of August 15, 2026)

Jr. High: ages 11-14 (as of August 15, 2026)

What time is Day Camp?

Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm

Getting to Camp

Camp drop off begins at 8:50am and pickup begins at 3:50pm. Our address is 8250 Finnie Road, Newark IL 60543. Our staff will direct you through the drop off and pick up lines.

Activities 

Day Camp activities include a healthy balance of sports, games, swimming, crafts, team building, and nature exploration.  Some DVC favorites are the tubing hill, gaga ball, archery, and laser tag!  Our quieter moments at camp will include daily a daily Bible and Worship time.  For the Jr. Highers we offer additional activities that includes rope bridge, dutch oven cooking, and tubing on the Fox River when the weather cooperates.

Staff

Our staff is highly trained, enthusiastic, and really fun to be around!  Our staff members love camp, love kids, and love God.

Lunch

A nutritious lunch is provided by the camp.  A light snack is also provided in the afternoon.  Please note any food allergies on the registration form.

Camp Store

Please plan to put money on your camper’s store account online, do not send cash with your camper to camp. You can add to this account at any time.  The camp store has a variety of camp treats like candy, pop, and ice cream.  We also offer Dickson Valley merchandise like water bottles, string bags, sunglasses, t-shirts, and sweatshirts.
