Let’s DoCamp!

What should I bring to overnight camp?

Please mark all items with camper's name.
- Sleeping bag & pillow (we plan to spend one night in a tent)
- Modest clothing for a week including socks, underwear, shorts, shirts, etc.
- Swimsuit: girls (one-piece) boys (swim shorts)
- Shoes (1 pair of tennis shoes for hiking and a second pair is recommended that can get muddy!)
- Sandals or flipflops
- Towels (one for swimming and one for bathing)
- Toiletries (including shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.)
- Bug spray (camp staff are not allowed to apply lotions)
- Sunscreen spray (camp staff are not allowed to apply lotions)
- Water bottle - we sell Dickson Valley water bottles in the camp store. 
- Day Pack (book bag) for carrying personal items around camp
- Personal face mask - optional: masks will not be required; however, we will support families that decide to wear them.
- An extra layer for cooler or rainy days (we don't recommend umbrellas)
- Flashlight (optional)
- Camera (optional - phones are not be allowed)
- Bible (optional)
- Notebook & pens

 

What should I leave at home?

- Cell phones, tablets, smart phones, etc.
- Personal gaming systems
- Toys
- Immodest clothing
- Clothing with inappropriate words or pictures
- All weapons
- Fireworks
- Illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco in all its forms, and all smoking products
